Receive several call a day from early morning to about 9 p.m. usually just 2 rings and they do not leave a message. Also get many calls from RPM often just 1-2 minutes apart, weekends and evenings. When tried to block RPM number 877-233-8521 was told it was an incorrect number.
yep, it's RPM, really annoying so I put my phone on vibrate. all you just file for bankruptcy, after the wall street debacle, tell your creditors to kiss your rear end. I would have a job and somewhere to live if they didn't screw us in the economy.
yes... a they call and call but usually there is no one on the other end. today a clinton morris called and ask for X. and that person was outside but i asked if i could help him in any way and he said "well if you want to pay X's debt you can." isnt that illegal to be disclosing other peoples personal infromation?
It is illegal for a debt collector to talk to anyone but the person the debt is connected to and it is illegal for a debt collector to tell a person to sell all of his or her belongings to pay for a debt. It is also illegal for a debt collector to threaten with jail time or court without a writ being served to the person once. And all debt including credit cards have a statue of limitations. The only debt that does not have a statue of limitations is educational debts. If a person gets a call for that kind of debt the government will have a record of the debt not a collection agency.
Call the 1-800# i got an answer right away. I simply ask the operator how i can remove my number from there call list and the operator ask if i was somebody i never heard of and i replied no. The operator said they will remove my number and it was simple as that. Thanks for the information.
