I got news for you. The "do not call" only works for certain things, like people trying to sell you goods or services, it does not stop the PBA from calling you for donations, it does not stop a company you already do business with from calling you to offer other things, and it certainly does not stop debt collectors. If I'm not mistaken, the Do not Call registry has to be renewed periodically. I worked for Verisucks at one of their call centers doing sales. People told us to take them off their list and stop calling them, some claimed they were on the DNC list.  Nothing stops Verisucks.  Most reps will say sure I'll take you off the list, but the fact is it is not up to the rep, but to a manager or above, and they never take those numbers off.  If a customer is sufficiently anoying to a rep, the rep can set it up then for the system to call multiple times. And the debt collection does not stop after 7 years. They might sell your debt to another collection company which then starts another 7 years.  I just ignore the calls, they come up on my caller ID, if I don't know them, I don't answer.

This is a collection agency. After several calls that lasted over two weeks I finally picked up. The person on the phone said he was looking for his freind James. When I  told him that I did not know a James but I wanted to know why he called me several times a day for over two weeks he repied "I have not personally called you before today". When I asked who he was he said "don't worry about it, I'm looking for James". Shortly after that he said he worked for RPM and then began going down the road of being somewhat of a smartass. I asked for his boss and he said that he did not put his Boss on the phone for things like this.
This company has some bad practices and even worse people. Their calls are automated so their system will call you relentlessly even if they have a wrong number
Fright Back! Report them to the BBB and the FCC!!

Here's the info! Call them and let them know what you think of harassment!!

I get the same calls.  never leaves a voice mail, hangs up if I answer the phone.  Shows up "RECEIVABLESPERF" on my caller ID though.
