This number has been calling for about 2 weeks straight. Morning and evenings. I called back from my company phone, but all I get is this number has been disconnected.
Is there anyway to block it. This is so childish and so frustrating. I have to put my cell on silence before I go to bed, or they will wake me up early in the morning. Can something be done to stop it.
This is an edited duplicate of what I just posted on another "who the hell called me" site;
Random (every few days, weekly or monthly) calls from 240 241 7111 for close to a year.....to my wife's cell phone (unlisted anywhere), which rings a few times & stops, when answered immediately there's no one there. If this is a collection agency, it's a completely incompetent one! Suspect VERIZON due to past dispute with those schmucks (2010) & others reporting the same. Verizon has also contacted my wife's mother (three states away...& it's been 20yrs since my wife lived with her parents...& from a different address no less) looking for us! Hey verizon...we don't owe you the $80 you claim we do, furthermore, you run a deceitful operation & you can lick my A$$! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH VERIZON [& please throw rocks/eggs/dog crap at their trucks at every opportunity...I'm starting tomorrow].

I don't know about the people who say this 2402417111# being a service for the deaf...if this were true, how come none of the calls turns out to be "hi aunt frizzle, this is amy...." or whatever? I'm pretty sure this is a mass effort arranged by some dork with no life in the collections dept at VERIZON, or some total failure of a company contracted by them, just trying to harass/annoy people who they THINK owe them money. Too many references to VERIZON here to be a coincedence. Hey VERIZON, fu*k you!
