called my cell number showed up a 580-555-0143 left voice message something about my checks
and i was going to be sued,but number i was to call back was 240-244-0477,not good reception
This number left a recorded message on my phone claiming I was being investigated for check fraud. I was told to call 240-244-0477 to take care of this issue or risked being arrested and taken before a grand jury.
similar message on my machine call 2402440477 to resolve us treasury tax enforcement action. call came from 979 555 0179 similar scam from the 979 number a few months ago but they were microsoft and wanted to clean a virus from my computer -- not!! this message appeared to be computerized strange that the us treasury would use 2 area codes for the same case.. beware fraud
Just received a message from this number claiming they will take me to federal court for credit fraud. I assumed it was for the POS who had this number before. Returned the call, nothing but ringing.
