Got a message something about a drug for pain, wants me to order. They said it is covered by Medicare and Medicaid but stipulated you have to be under the age of 65 WTF!!! SCAM
Called my home phone during business hours, answering machine picked up and a recording offered to ship a new pain medication approved and paid for by Blue Cross / Blue Shield. Medication was not identified by name, no call back number was provided, no company name or info was provided. The only option offered was to press 1 to verify your home address for shipment.
Yeah, they called me, tripped the answering device, but didn't leave a message. Hey - "just a guy" - let me get this straight. Some sort of "medication", allegedly "approved" by Blue Cross/Blue shield, but with no name? Likewise, no company name, or any sort of ID - i.e. address, phone number, etc.? Just "press 1 then "verify" home address, then presumably "...gimme your money"? Geezus sufferin Ch**st !!! I believe you, but I'm just sitting here shaking my head, at the Audacity, and/or stupidity of that scam ! Good to know you didn't get "sucked in" to it, and thanks for posting this information - I'm sure you have prevented someone else from grief ! Keep up the good work. See ya around the campfire !
