I get calls from several companies claiming that they are calling on behalf of AT&T. But when I talk to my rep from AT&T, she says that they actually have no affiliation with them. I even had one company send out people to our business 2 times to see if we were getting our "rate adjustment" just so that they could see our phone bill. These places are so shady that I will never switch my services for anything. They try and get our business by lying to us about who they are and why they want to talk to us...screw that. Is the economy so bad that this is the only job that these people can find? I would rather lick a toilette seat at the "Staples Center" than do to people what these slack jawed, knuckle dragging, cross-eyed, knock kneed, buck-toothed, still living at home with their parents, top 10 under achievers of whatever city they live in, do.
No way to call back.Even though number and name on caller ID.Annoying when some one calls and then they fix there phones so you cant return the call to see what it was about. Then your stuck with the bill for a long distance call.
Caller ID Name: NOVO 1, caller ID # 240-294-1590. Line rang, I answered, 240-294-1590 hung up. I looked up the company online and called their toll free number (877) 810-7171. The operator who answered prefered not to give her 'personal name' and I spoke to a female who identified herself (after a lot of questions from me) as Tracy, Supervisor of the Call Center located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I spoke to her at 8:45 a.m. Central Standard Time on Monday, July 2, 2007. Tracy advised she would put my company on the Do Not Call list.
Based upon an earlier post, I called the 877 # and told them to take me off their Call List or I was going to turn them over to the MA Attorney General's office. They said they will. There is an old saying the proof is in the pudding so only time will tell.
Same problems as listed above. They are interrupting my business calls and making me run for the phone several times a day. I just called them at 301-361-1111 and asked to be removed from there call list. Where is the enforcement of the do not call laws?
