Some lady said something about coming to my employer for legal reasons; I never found out why, she probably mentioned it but I was so confused by the time she threatened to come to my employer; I'm retired, and she never mentioned her company name; I blocked the number, will block the area code after finishing this message; I swore at her and hung up.
Tried to tell me i had a loan out that i never heard of, and was told i was being sued for some amount that they couldnt tell me over the phone. The lady on the phone couldnt speak English, And they do not listen. And they told me they would enter my house to take my stuff to pay off a $300 dollar loan to which i never took out,
Called and left a message without a name. When I called it back, the guy could not pronounce my name correctly and did not hear when I said this is her, and then he tries to get me to verify my last 4 social security number, which I know is a scam. He said the last 4, and no valid company gives you the numbers, they ask for your mailing address, phone number, and date of birth. When I said I would not verify it with him, he said have a good day and I said not to call me anymore.
Woman left a message saying g this was "my only official notice in this matter," but failed to tell me what this matter was. Left a case # that was a recorded voice. No name of the company or anything to identify who they are or why they are calling. She did threaten to find out who my currentemployer was "today" and report this to them. Good luck, beyoch. First, that's illegal without sending me something in writing. Second, I haven't worked in over 6 years. Have fun finding my current employer, lol.
I am sick of these scam calls I could scream. Another one for the ever growing block list.
Received a call from this number. Clearly a robot call, because they didn't wait for the "beep" before beginning their upchuck of stupidity. First part of the message was cut off, but essentially, it was an authoritative, aggressive woman's voice stating that I was being investigated (didn't say what, of course) and they were calling to verify my employment and home address "today". It gave me a number to call and a computerized "case number" in which to contact "the plaintiff". In her words, failure to contact this number before I'm "served" forfeits my right to challenge this claim. I reckon I was born at night, but it certainly wasn't last night. Clearly a SCAM to get your personal data!
