They are not really from Google. They are using Google's name to make businesses think they have a special relationship with Google (they actually told me they have a "special relationship") so that the businesses think this company can get them on #1 of search results.
I have had the same problem -100s of calls from Google. All different numbers from all over the country. Pressed no.2 and all that did was confirm that they have a live person on the phone and the calls have gotten even worse. They even listed my private number that I don't give out and now that's all over the web and I'm getting more calls from others. Do no call list is a joke. I installed a program called Call Control on my cell phone and now I (for 98% of the calls) am no longer wasting my time dealing with these calls. I would really like to call Sergey Brin 2 or 3 times a day on his private cell phone and try selling my business services to him. I tend to doubt he would appreciate the intrusion.

filthy mother of christ. i am at work and most of the calls i get are from these non working losers. this one claimed to be from google, i get this same bint's voice so many times a day i hear it in my sleep
