Answered call and guy says "hello Ron Johnson, paid fundraiser.... " This is the point when I hang up.

I do give to Purple Heart but do not deal with paid fundraiser. Try asking any fundraiser how much of the money you donate goes to the organization. Most will say they don't know to avoid the question. Ask if it is tax deductible and if the answer is "no" it's because they don't give enough to the charity. If they are paid fundraiser they can keep up to 90% leaving 10% for the charity. That is a disgrace!!!!
