Got a call about 7000 ask if I was a criminal filed bankruptcy in last six months and something else I said yes I'm a criminal he went very silent then I said just kidding he went on for a minute then hung up does this person plan on trying to get grants or credit in my name??????I have lifelock
I quess our tax dollars don't work at all when it comes to protection for phone/email scammers. You can submit a complaint WITH a phone number/ip address and get zero results. If these scammers were after gov't agencies they would be in jail.
the man on the other end said i won a $7000 grant from the US government. He spoke with very broken English and I could hardly understand what he said. When I told him I couldn't understand and I thought it was a scam he cussed me and hung up. I called right back got the same guy but he didn't know who I was. I listen to him talk for a little bit then hung up. Thought someone should know about it.
