BEWARE: Received same, Message and Requesting call back to (240) 580-1925, Same "Urgent" Mesagge
Confirming what everyone else has posted this far, IRS Does NOT Call you personally; they would communicate to you via postal- mail **** TELL Everyone you know, NOT To Respond to this SCAM - SCAM- SCAM!!!!
These people have called my house multiple times. We're iranian, they scared the [***] out of my mom saying we'll be deported if we don't pay $300,000 mind you, we are citizens of the United states. Don't buy a word they're saying. Or you can scare them by saying you'll call the cops on them
IRS scam!
I talked to the caller. He said that he was calling from the IRS. The number he called from was: 240-580-1925. Claimed that criminal action has been filed against me. "We need your criminal lawyer's name and number." He had an Indian accent and claimed to be IRS Special Agent Ethan McCoy, badge number 23594. He wanted the last four of my Social Security number to verify that he was talking to the correct person.
This # called and left a message IRS Criminal Investigations. Called back and left message that I was Special Agent ........ Told them they called interstate and I would counter with an FBI arrest. Let's see if they respond lol
