Since there is one more report, here, I'm fairly certain it's an attempt to lighten our wallets, possibly by FOP, or a scammer, more than likely. CID simply read, Gaithersburg, MD. One internet source says: 240-720-3534 - Armandina Starry, 1st St, Gaithersburg, Maryland. So, Armandina (if that's your name), if you don't want your information listed, on a blog, don't make unsolicited phone calls to people tired of running to the phone, ringing with calls, from the likes of you. Sorry, don't know you, from Adam.
I have been getting the calls from this number too and when you call back they will not say who they are and why they are calling. Just a recording. Really annoying. If they keep calling then i will call police and let them know.
Calling the police is ridiculous, they not only won't help you, they can't and the Do Not Call List is a joke. You are just going to have to put up with it. Just don't answer the phone. If you answer the phone or call them back, they will take that as you wanting to be contacted and so will the authorities if it ever got to them, which it won't.
