The very same thing happened to me as everyone else has reported. It's 5:20, early evening. This number called my cell but didn't leave a voicemail, then called my home but didn't leave a message. They've actually called a time or two earlier today. And, I also receturned an Enterprise rental car this past Thursday. It was bugging me whose number this was - mystery solved!
This spam seems to be from Alamo or Enterprise car rental who apparently got my number from either National or Dollar car rental, which I recently used. I am bummed that my number would be shared but not naive.
Someone called me at work and asked for my husband. I told them they had the wrong number. It may have been Enterprise, since he did rent a car from them last week.
I got a call on a Thursday from this number. I do not answer unfamiliar numbers. . . if this was enterprise the car was clean but on "EMPTY" when delivered. Power windows and keyless locking would have been nice rather than everything "manual" This was a loaner while mine was being fixed.
