I got a call this afternoon, and I'd dropped off the rental at Enterprise yesterday. That must be it ...

Kind of jerky of them calling Wednesday night 10/17/11 at 810PM.

Did not answer call, but don't appreciate the time they called to conduct "business".

This phone number is for a survey company.

Call 800-864-8601 to register your phone number on the survey company's do not call list.

If you recently rented a car with Enterprise, Alamo, or National, they could have only gotten your phone number from the rental car company. Post-sale customer service calls are not prohibited under law, so placing your name on the Federal Do Not Call list does nothing in this case.

I called back. It's "Merits Research," some kind of opinion survey. And I did rent a car from Alamo.

But I don't do robo-calls.
