Received a call from this number in the past week several times. Decided to finally answer despite the missing numbers. And a middle easter man asked for me. I told him wrong number and he kept trying rephrasing the question, is this my phone number etc. I hung up.
I have been getting phone calls from this number and nobody answers. When I call back to see who is calling, it does not let me do so, since it seems to be missing numbers. This is the forth time they call me.
I asked them for the DUNS number the grant was for, then said that I worked for the Federal Trade Commission and knew I would need it so I wouldn't get audited. They put the phone down and I could hear several people panicking before they remembered to hang up
I received a call from a women with a middle eastern accent stating that I was approved for a $9000 grant. She stated that she works for the internal revenue service. And, the grant could be transferred into my bank account or onto a visa card. I asked what is the phone number there, so that I can verify that you are indeed calling me from the IRS. She said that information cannot be giving before the application process is complete.
