Also glad to see FCC and Do Not Call registry are working! I checked and I am on it! I know you have to re-registered after so many years. Getting at least 10 calls a week from this number and others! Way to go FCC and DO-NOT-CALL!
Got a call a few minutes ago from this number. Did not answer as I did not recognize the number. They left no message - just an open line for some time. My caller id said"V30916302900514" - weird company name!
They've either given this number to a new scammer or they've started a new campaign. I got a call today on my mobile phone, which is in the DNC registry and has been for years. The recorded message was about "people at risk of falling". I tried calling the number back and got a message indicating "the number or code is incorrect". This is a pretty good indicator they're using a SIP IP telephony product like Magic Jack and spoofing the Caller ID number. I filed a complaint on the FTC website, but who knows if these jerks are even in the US?
