This number claims to be from the IRS arrest line stating that you must call immediately before the IRS takes court action against you. Folks, the IRS does not personally call you if you have tax problems. The IRS will send you a written letter, and when you are really in trouble,i.e., fail to pay your tax bill on time, they will send you a certified letter that you must sign for. Total scammers. Do not return the call.
I got a called from 240 758 8592 this morning. a man with Indian accent. He said he is working for IRS. He told me i own IRS $9500 usd. I told him take a hike and if he has time come to my house and kiss my [***].
I called this number back, mostly I'm annoyed for the constant calling. I asked to speak to the office manager, I eventually was routed about 4 different times. I asked to know when my letter was sent out informing me of any actions being taken against me, as that is the standard protocol, they said it wasn't my fault I missed them and as they were now in Washington D.C. I would not be receiving anymore. Apparently, I annoyed the finally guy so much he finally just said he was going to be writing up my arrest warrant within the next hour and half and I would be taken to Washington D.C. to stand trial for taxes from 2009-2013. I told him I had all of those taxes done and hard copies of them, I was informed to make sure to have them on hand when I go to Washington D.C. since that is where they are sending me.
So much BS but it was fun to annoy the guys and keep throwing in all the laws they are breaking if they were true IRS agents and how what they were saying actually wouldn't happen.
