For the third time now, I have a received a call from phone number 240-764-4265. The same male calls each time but changes his name. This time he was “Special Investigator Jason Chambers.” His message varies but generally includes some rhetoric about his firm instigating litigation in your home county and he needs a call back immediately. The first time I returned the call, a female answered and stated that I should give her my “case number or hang up.” When I told her I knew she was a fraud, she got very upset with me. Today, I returned the call and told the man that I knew he was a fraud. After I called him “Barney Fife” a few times, he got really upset and called me an “F****** A******.” He proceeded to tell me that he made $100,000.00 per year in his business. After our shouting match I told him never to call me again. He immediately called back immediately just to show me that he could.
Got a call today from a male identifying himself as an Investigator who needed to talk to my son regarding numerous bad checks he had written recently. Personally knowing my son has not had a checking account in over 5 years I explained that to him and also told him I was a retired law enforcement officer and I needed to know his personal information and he quickly hung up. Investigator my [***]!! Typical Scam!! If these people call you tell them to call the local District Attorney's Office and see how fast they hang up on you.
