they called saying they needed to contact my brother or put out a warrant for his arrest...something about a car from 1998....sounds a little fishy to me!!!!
like you never made any debtor mad! gimme a break the just collector, like these people are gonna kiss your [***] cause you say your nice, you are out to make money off people everyday, tell me you give everybody you talk to below blanket sif's to save them money, or do you tell people you will settle at a rate which is higher than they could have paid?? there is no good bill collector, you make money off people just like the ones who scam
I received a call today from guy saying he was investigator Jacob Roberts. He asked for me by name and then said he had to verify if I was the right person so he rattled off my social security number and wanted me to say it was me. He had my right s.s# He told me about something I owed that was from 1995 and that I had a warrant out for my arrest, Anyway he told me that I owed money to a company and I was going to be arrested if I didn't pay what I owed. I told him to send me the warrant and hung up the phone, he called me right back and told me that he was going to arrest me in 24 to 48 hours. I hung up and called our local police dept. to file a report. Statue of limitations is 5 years on a contract if something is owed so I knew he was full of crap with something that was 13 years ago.
