I got a call from him too. I beleive he bought info from check cashing companys and is trying to scam. He said it was with advanced america. I read a post by someone else with almost the exact senario as mine. Don't give him any info. He had all old info on me and gave me a dedline of noon to pay him.
Also keep a look out on your accounts because they have your SS#'s. They provided it as part of my "case#" they gave me! These are people who need to be brought up on charges for doing this to people! I wish I had the money to get a lawyer and sue them!
I just received a call from a Bill Dorsey. I kindly told him to kiss my butt and gave him a few other chose words and I hung up on him. They are scammers!!! DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY!!!!!
I was just called today 12/Sep/2001 from this guy. All he said was that it was an attempt to collect a debt. He doesnt say anything about what debt it is or any other information and that I need to call him right away.
