I sprinted up the stairs to answer my cell phone only to get silence after saying "hello?" but the lady came on after the third hello to say she was from GE. I told her my number is on the national "do not call" list so unless she was really from GE she had better stop. She said she was and that they are giving away a $1500 home security system complete with camera monitors. I explained that we have ADT and we are pleased with their service. Besides, if someone was stupid enough to come in they would have to get past my evil chihuahua while I lecture them to death. She said ok and promptly hung up. I think they are casing places.
Called them back, giving away products to homeowners, I asked them to put me on their Do Not Call list. They call me again I am reporting them to the BBB
They called me again yesterday, but since I have them on my "blocked" list it sends their calls straight to VM. The phone didn't ring so I didn't even know they had called. I just happened to be scrolling through my recent calls list and clearing them when I saw that they had experienced the joy of being automatically routed to my intentionally full voicemail box.
