Thank you for the link.. Even though my post is three years later! That link to their website, where you can ask them to STOP calling you is still there and active. I just now submitted my number to be removed from their list. I hope they comply!
This number came up with an ID of (801) 214-9297. My caller ID appeared as (248) 327-3175. If you research the (801) area code number you will find that the number has been used for supposed political calls and phishing. My personal opinion is that the Do Not Call registry never works and don't answer any numbers you do not know. If it is/was important or real someone/company would/will leave a message. Just my humble opinion. Hope this helps. Have a great day!
I've received 3-4 calls so far on my cell phone purporting to be conducting a political survey without disclosing any political affiliation. All "survey" questions are extremely misleading (to put it lightly) and biased. The purpose of this survey must be to (1) spread negative propaganda against Mark Showers (who was always mentioned in a derogatory way) on behalf of Terri Lynn Land (who was always mentioned favorably in the questions) and (2) determine the most effective mud for Terri Lynn Land to sling at her opponent. I didn't know much about either candidate before a few months ago, but all I have seen so far is mudslinging TV commercials from Land and I have received these repeated calls from her campaign (though the caller *never* discloses the organization they are calling on behalf of, implying that they are neutral and impartial). These annoying, shady calls and her negative TV commercials have caused me to form a very negative impression of her. And of course politicians exempted themselves from the Do Not Call List.
They keep calling me 3x per day. I do not answer calls from unidentified sources. They never honor my voice-mail greeting, which advises callers to state their name, state their callback number, and state their business with me. Callers who fail to leave a voice mail, get added to my Strange list. I quickly forward such callers to voice-mail for ALL subsequent call attempts. I am registered on the National Do Not Call List. These people are relentless. You'd figure they will count the number of unsuccessful contact attempts, and eventually drop you from their list - but no, they are too greedy and stupid. My time is valuable. Don't let these people bother you or waste your time.
