Thank you for the link.. Even though my post is three years later! That link to their website, where you can ask them to STOP calling you is still there and active. I just now submitted my number to be removed from their list. I hope they comply!
The company is Venture Data Research. They take phone surveys. Since they are not soliciting, the National Do Not Call list doesn't apply to their business. If you would like to have a phone number removed from the Venture Data Research internal call list, go to their web site:

Just had that number request "a confidential survey". We passed on it. Thanks for the link to their own No Call List.
It took a couple tries for the link to work (had to kill and restart our browser first). We added our number to the list.
This number called my fax line. As I have a phone attached to it, I answered the caller with the name associated with that line. A woman on the other end apologized and claimed she had dialed the wrong number.
