Received a call from this number at 8:45pm. My husband answered and they asked for me. He told them I wasn't here and asked to take a message. They said there was no message and they were making a "courtesy call" and told my husband to have a "very blessed and holy day". We are on the do not call list but get tons of calls anyway from charities, home security systems, alternative energy solutions, etc...
When I get calls like this and I'm standing near the phone jack.... I unplug it rather than let machine pick up. That way all the caller get is one ring after another. Since started doing that I've been getting fewr calls.
This number calls but hangs up before it switches into voicemail. If I DID answer it (and I don't answer any number I don't recognize), there'd be no one there. What's the point, caller?? STOP THIS. IT IS ANNOYING.
I continue to receive these unwanted calls approximately every two to three weeks.
They are always in the evening after 8:00 PM.
In addition to this I have started to receive calls from another Michigan number later
in the evening.
Both of these leave no message but simply hang-up after 4 to 5 rings.
