Caller id says LNG MEGAPOPNET. No message was left. It's a scam.
Drat! I did not get a single scam call this weekend. It was wonderful! I hoped the FCC's catching and fining that one huge scammer from India meant these calls would stop for more than two days. Does not look like it. Others rush in to take his place. Nothing but scams all day. And i am trying to make some business calls out.
This number called my DNC-listed landline, so I immediately knew it was a scam artist calling. Unlike most autodialers that give up after four rings, this guy kept it ringing for quite a while before giving up. Maybe he thought that the delay was some elderly person trying to get to the phone, so he figured he had an easy mark. If so, he was very wrong on both accounts.
Called at 1917 hrs. Caller ID stated that it was LNP MEGAP OPMEG Michigan zip code. Have had nush calls before. When I picked up, there was no response ...just dead air. From earlier calls, I take it to be a telemarketer
