I got a call from them today too at 2:50 today. I didnt pick up, but there was a message about calling about a
case file.. Tried to google the number but haven't found anything.
Imagine my surprise when I received a recorded phone message from Internal Revenue Services. Wait...what? Internal Revenue Services....plural? Advised to call immediately to 253-203-6604. Legit IRS sends letter (usually certified). I wonder what these posers could possibly want from me? My money or my info? Or both. I won't be calling them back!
I received a vm saying that the IRS was filing a suit against me. The number was 253--203-6694. When I called the person answered right away, heavy accent and the address on file as incorrect. They then hung up on me.
