IF you have ever taken out a payday loan....even if it was years ago. That is what its regarding. They must give people cell phones with 253 area codes to make it seem more legit. I got a call from that number at 730am this morning.. saying that she needs to confirm my address to serve me with papers. Of course she had NO info about the company the papers were from. She gave me a number to call. It was a payday loan for years ago. Before we filed bankruptcy. Of course they say they dont have to abide by the bankruptcy laws. The truth is, they dont abide by ANY laws, because they are an illegal company.
We do not know this number or NEW COLLECTION Company. (LOCAL - CELL # they also called our office from 253-218-4437) It seems that they have NO respect for the Law !! We received 5 calls at our WA. Sate office. they left many messages on many company extensions including our HR Dept. voice mail. It said the same as the last persons complaint. We have a claim for ....... and Charges against Her. At this point You have one opportunity to contact the Firm, To discuss the matter immediately.
A couple of points: 1.- we have No idea who the person is that they left ALL this personal info about. 2.- This type of messages are in violation of many laws, Just forward these types of messages to the FCC. 3- If you receive any calls of this type, please post a message that way everyone know what numbers and companies are working outside the law, and that companies that are legitimate.
I recieved a call at 730am this morning. First: Aren't businesses required to wait until at least 8am to start harassing people? She would not tell me what it was regarding, only that a "company" has filed a claim and is serving me with papers. She is the server and needs my address. I asked what company and she "does not have any of that information" however she had a phone number for me to call. Of course the number she gave me was out of state. Her phone number had a 253 are code......thats the only reason I answered it. But when I tried calling her number back, of course it was a recording telling me they dont take calls. I am so tired of all of this BS. I filed for bankruptsy 6 months ago. I thought all the harrassments would stop.
