Ditto - woman could barely speak English and told me with IRS.  Laughed and hung up and blocked the number.  IRS sends letters - doesn't make phone calls.  I would hope the IRS would not outsource to India to make calls.  Almost too funny but I'm posting this in the hopes people won't fall prey to this scam.

Just received the same call.  I let it go to voice mail and it sounds like a drunk Siri telling me I have to call immediately or be arrested.

Message left on voicemail to call back. I am glad for the postings here, won't waste my time.

Received a computerized phone call indicated that they were from the IRS and had a lawsuit against me, for me to return the call.

Thank you for all who have posted!  Just received same call few minutes ago. My heart sank at first,  them remembered........   I DID have a true IRS issue in spring, and all appropriate paperwork was sent through the mail to me and my tax man. As one would expect.  It was cleared up with 1 call to "the IRS' 1-800 #"".  Don't panic and don't answer.
