It was a recorded call and they called me at work. Didn't know my name.
Something tells me, this is a bogus call. But, if there was someone I didn't like and I knew their bank account number, I might call back. From a pay phone.
Woman with broken english tells me I owe IRS $3986.73. An arrest warrant is being issued. I can take care of this right now or I will settle it in court after I have been arrested. I asked her to send me proof of this error and proof of how I owe this amount and she said per court order she cannot send me paperwork until after this is taken care of.
Automated call, said was IRS, and that this was my last warning that there is a lawsuit against me. Left call back number of 253-220-7299. Didn't waste time calling back.
