I answered and heard a click or two so I was expecting to hear someone start talking.
I heard an older woman's voice say my name as if unsure (higher tone emphasis on last syllable as if asking a question). UNFORTUNATELY, I did answer slowly, "Yes." Then the caller hung up but they might have got a voice recording of me saying, yes. AUGH!
Called twice, said my name both times, then hung up after I said yes. I'm blocking this number... just hope they don't have a recording of me saying yes to something.
This caller is a scam saying it's for breast cancer. I told her I had donated hundreds in the past but no one called to help me when I was in treatment and she hung up on me. Plus she called my cell at 10:30 at night in Florida...
I just received another call from this company. First of all, they are not calling from Washington State. but from Southfield Michigan. So they are spoofing 253 area code(Washington State) in order to get an unfamiliar number to show up on your caller I.D. If you pick up, you will hear the voice of a very friendly woman, but this not a live voice but pre-recorded with a message about Breast Cancer. I asked a question about where she was calling from, but her babble just went on until I ashed if she was a live person. There was a pause and then a response that "she is a recording, but is programed to accept responses from me", so I told the recording I wanted to speak to a "Live person" and it said to hold on a few seconds. In about 15 seconds a live person did get on the line and I asked her where she was located and she told me Southfield Michigan so it was about 11:45pm Eastern Time. I told her "I was tired receiving 2 or 3 calls a day from them and that I wanted to have my telephone number removed IMMEDIATELY from their call list and If I did receive any more calls from them that I would file a complaint with the Washington States Attorneys office of Consumer Affairs.You know our AG filed the lawsuit against Trump's Immigration ban and certainly if he is not afraid to take on the President, He certainly would be interested in your company's business practices," I was polite as was she, We will see if they do stop calling.
