just got a call from this number. pushed my zenith zep100 zapper device ($25 3 years ago) and they hung up. I love using this thing! When I get a call from an unknown number or someone I don't want to hear from I just press the button on this device and an (annoying yet official sounding) automated message goes out that usually stops these scammers dead.
It beeps to get the person's attention and says, "Hello, this number does not accept calls of this nature. Please take this as notice to remove this number from your list. Goodbye." The beeping and the message repeat once and then hang up on the caller, freeing you to do other things.
Received a phone call from them at 1:30PM today (7/6/2012) This is not the first phone call i have received..there was a recording that they are calling about my current account and I can lower my interest rate. Press 1 to talk to an representative, press 2 to remove my number...I pressed 2 several times in the past but it does not remove your number. Tried to complain to a representative and was hung up on. Filed a complaint with the do not call registry
was called by this number and told that i could reduce my credit card interest rate. I do not have a credit card. When I told this to the operator she hung up on me. When I call back I get an option to remove my number from the call list. There are no other options and no one picks up.
