I received the same phone call (253-245-3160) with the same message today. They have $9200 in US Government loyalty grant money for me. Of course I did not call them back.
Called me saying they were from the US Gov't Grants Dept. and I had miraculously been granted $9,200 even though I have never applied for one and their reason was because I didn't have a criminal record, paid my taxes and never filed bankruptcy. They screwed the pooch with their first reason because unfortunately when I first got out of the Army, and that was not long after my last tour in Iraq, I kind of went crazy and reverted back to my old ways which got me a record. Of course being a Control System Specialist I had my computer right in front of me so while these idiots are talking I'm googling and by the time they finished telling me all the shady stuff I had to do to get the money I already knew more about them than they did about me. So I went off on them and they hung up called back a few times for fun...slow day. Haha
This is the number I was told to call to get a $9,200 government grant. I was also given a "grant ID". The number of whoever called me was 125-678-5466. When I searched that number I got a message that said "invalid area code".
