Tried telling me I was eligible for a $9200.00 Federal Grant from Washington DC. The area code was from Tacoma Washington. I kept asking stupid questions which he couldn't answer (hows the weather in Washington DC, what time is it, etc.) I had to explain to him that Washington DC and Washington state were 3000 miles away from each other. You could tell he was googling it while we were talking. I kept him on the line for over 20 minutes stating I was interested. He was so mad by the end of the conversation, I couldn't understand what he was saying (Indian accent).
SPAM PEOPLE. Do not give out any information, do not call them unless you want to keep them on the line and pretend you're interested.
I got the same call three times. I asked the caller that I will call him later to verify his identity, so I needed his office main number, extension and physical address of the Government office he was calling from. He refused saying that if I wanted the grant ($9,500) I should call the number he gave me and follow the instructions. This is a scam call.
