got a call from 253-246-8586 (forged caller ID, not the real number they are calling from) twice and decided to pick up the second call and got the typical "press 1" recorded message. A guy came on the line and started in with the questions to "qualify" me for their rate reduction services (see, they only want you if they can make big bucks off of you, otherwise they will hang up on your a**!)
He actually LIED and said the only reason they were calling me is "because of my good payment history" REALLY? at this point he doesn't have the slightest idea who I am or even what my name is! and apparently he also doesn't know that I don't HAVE a credit card. I hung up the phone without a word and he called me back within a minute from a completely different caller ID number of 949-632-4264 which proves that the first number was forged to hide his identity. He called twice then gave up. This second number is also associated with many scams, abusive calls and Do Not Call list violations.
Received a call from 253-246-8586 as soon as i answer the automated system said," Congratulation, you have been selected to receive a credit card" Okay.. i was going to hang up but thinking... how did they get my number so I finish listening to the entire message and pressed a number to talk to a representative to ask them of how they got my number. A rep name "Richard" answered the call as soon as I asked him "How did you get my number?" and i didn't even finish my sentence, he rudely hung up the call. So I called back to the same numbers 253-246-8586, the automated system said " Your number have been removed from our marketing list. Have a nice day." All I can say is.. I'm pissed at how unprofessional they are, how rude that Richard rep was, HOW THE HELL DID THEY GET MY NUMBER?
Got a call from this unknown number and didn't answer. I don't answer numbers I don't know. Wish I wouldv'e, they might have been fun to mess with. lol But I am also on the Do Not Call list and would like to know how they got my number as well.
