Called them back from a non personal number and when they asked what my name was I asked what they are doing. Apparently I am awarded the grant without them even knowing my name. Called the next number and they would not look me up by using the confirmation code the previous person gave me. They obviously wanted details about who I was. Hope no one falls for this... Even if it was true I would be pissed off that the government was issuing out 9k to 600 randomly selected people.
a guy saying his name was mike (Indian accent) said I was selected and won 9200 from the government he asked for my name and age and gave me a number to call and a grant approval number. Asked if I was single. I didn't call and hung up and then I looked the number they called me from on Google and found this page. It's a scam and I hope no one falls for it. Be carefull
A woman with an Indian accent called me from this number. Said I had been randomly selected to receive $9,000 from the government. I repeatedly asked who gave her my number and she kept repeating herself that the government and selected me (oh lucky me?) I replied "so the government selects minors to give 9 grand to Huh?" And she then replied "what government branch are you speaking about?" And became very hostile. I told her not to call me again and hung up. Scam calls are just annoying..
