I'm on the don't call list but they still get through on the landline and cell phone. Go figure that one out...
Received this call at my office number. Mind you I am a Federal employee that is employed with a U.S. Federal Agency, under the U.S. Secretary. I questioned this woman, as she stated she was with the U.S. Grant Agency, as to which department, office and location she was employed with. She hesitated, apologized but during this time you could hear kids playing in the back ground with the TV blasting away, teleworking I think not, nonetheless again she apologized, said must have dialed the wrong number, did not answer any of my questions and she hung up on me. LOL!!! The telephone number came in on caller ID as a Tacoma, WA #. Yes, this is a scam from a telemarketer. No grants there.
Call from a foreign woman saying I was ramdomly selected to get a $9200 grant and to call 646-583-2732 with a ref #. If the government wants me he know where I am. I wish I knew her home number so I can call her all night.
They will call, when I answer, no one talks or they offer money from the gov't. Damned foreigners trying to steal from U.S. CITIZENS.I guess stealing from the gov't is not enough for these freeloaders.
