Received call that asked me to call 253-336-5323 and give a code number that would allow me to receive $ 7,000 from the US Treasury as I had been selected through a very serious process by the government to receive this money. Only personal questions were "what is your age" and "are you employed". Sounds kinda phishy to me.

I have received a call from the same number (253)-336-5323, asking the same questions, and I was just waiting for them to ask for my social security number just to be ensured this was a scam, and they did not. They gave me a call back number and I called to play along, and they claimed that I needed to go to put $200 dollars on a card they are going to provide me and then put $7000 into my account. This is obviously a scam, and steered clear of giving personal information, and I hope everybody else does as well. It does make me very curious where they got so much information on me.
The same thing happened to me. A lady called saying that I one $7000 from the U.S. Government and to claim them I would need to cal 2533365323. I called out of curiosity and they did not answer. I wasn't planning on giving out any personal information.
