I received a call on my Majic jack number, but since it doesn't work well here in Japan, i did get a voice mail that i'm being arrested. This person on the phone was more threatening thank a Government official. Is there some one I can contact. I've been calling this number, and it answers and hangs up with no voice.
They will call you repeatedly. And if you call back, they will pick up and tell you that you're being investigated for tax evasion. When I ask what kind of Fraud they were running, they hung up on me. But they keep leaving me voicemails. Unreal.
also got a call from a man with what appeared to be an indian/middle eastern accent saying the IRS was going to open an investigation and I should call this number.
Called and said I was being investigated for tax fraud and to call this number before they turned it in to the court house and filed a warrant for my arrest. Would maybe have been more believable if didn't have a Jamaican accent. Dumb [***]. Too bad they don't put as much energy into a real job.
I got one today, just as I was about to have dinner. Same story as the other commenters on this page, I'm about to have big trouble due to tax fraud, accent left no doubt English was not his first language. Told me to call 253-617-0342, which of course I didn't do. I had the same scam attempt a few months back, the calls came from California. Read a story where the scammers were caught and figured it was over, should have known better.
Same as previous comments, tax fraud, and I would be prosecuted! What a bunch of retards.. I dont have to file. Like we are going to have some jamaican, nigerian, or chinese in the IRS offices who can hardly speak the language to make phone calls for possible tax fraud! These people are a joke!! I just blocked the number, and any messages from coming in to my phone!
