Just got a call from this guy today! Number is from WA state not DC. This number is from outside some house across from Dave's Complete Auto Repairs (Lyle St/ Alley). Dave's is ok, but the neighbor across the st. is a scam artist. Said all the same as above and that I should call to get my cash or direct deposit. After finding this page and using reverse lookup I knew this was a huge scam.
This is a scam they are spoofing phone numbers in a call center looking for victims to scam people they call from diffent numbers and they can put up any number to show up on the caller ID they even buy information to make the scam look real report them. Did anybody get a sign letter no use common sense red flags scam call
Wow what a scam this they wanted me to go to the store to send them money to get grant money do they thinks everyone is stupid. I just keep wasting there time and they getting mad they call 5 diffent times in days.
They told me the exact same thing that you have to lay down a $250 deposit that would be refundable and that I was getting the money because I paid my taxes on time and that I was getting rewarded for that and I think it's a little creepy that they know my basic information and then they repeated themselves three different times asking me the same questions
253-843-6230 This number call our home phone telling my husband they were from the US Treasury Dept. Saying my husband qualified for a grant of 7800 dollars. That all he needed to do was send 230 application fee through money gram. I right away told my husband if he needed to send any money to get money it was BS. He called back the number several time speaking to this Victoria lady each and every time he called back this same number. THANK GOD I jumped on google and looked up this phone number to see all these post and reports of the same number. Theses people need to be put in jail for pulling this type of S#*t of hard working families who really work hard for a living. I hope and pray they get caught soon! Both man and women had vary strong Indian accents & once confronted with scam remakes seem to have gotten vary nervous.
