Thanks for your info of Midwest, they also go by MCCI Decatur, BBB report http://www.bbb.org/central-illinois/business- ... atur-il-9005961# If you're receiving unknown, wrong number, wrong person, abusive and predatory calls they maybe relative or friend related. Trying to talk with a debt collector is useless you need to put it in writing as cease and desist and also write state and federal consumer protection agencies. FDCPA TCPA laws are there for a reason, to protect the consumer from illegal debt collection tactics of contacting the elderly, vulnerable, and uninformed with unprofessional and unethical business tactics.
I get these calls at least 5 times a day. I'm getting tired of them. To bad you can't block calls if you have frontier like me.. I don't answer calls from people I don't know. i get a lot of calls also from no name no number. I'm ready to just unplug my phone.

Get this call over and over no one on the line. If I block it and they call again will they get a msg that they are blocked and just start using another number?
Yes, if you block this number they will probably switch to one of the other numbers that they use. These "local office" calls seem to be a major nuisance for a lot of people right now. It looks like this number has been linked to some others: http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-800-824-6191/17
