Called me at work, and said they were representing PayDayOne. Said I took out a payday loan in Jan. of 2012 for $500 and never paid it back. I asked how they got this number and they said it was the number I used to apply for the loan. First of all this is a work number and the company I work for just started here in 2014. So this number wasn't available in 2012 so how could I have used it? I tried to call this paydayone and its a brokerage type company and you cant get a live person. So I called the DCA or whatever they call them selves, I asked for a supervisor, and told them I was turning this over to my attny for identity fraud.. and funny thing... they hung up!
call from this number, called and they would not identify themselves, advised them I was reporting them as a scan and they said that was fine..... said there was "a complaint against me"..... that is not even a term that a normal debt collector would use....SCAM
Same as others have stated. Thankfully this site set my mind at ease cause i was worried who would file a complaint against me. Thanks to all who reported them here!
Just received the same message that they were DC Services and a complaint was filed against me. It's amazing how many folks were contacted and told the same thing in 2 days. Wow!
Received call today w/ same message, DC services, complaint filed against me. If me or my representative do not return call they will have to proceed with further actions.
