Received two calls today, minutes apart, from this number. When I tried to pick up, the calls disconnected. When I called their # back, twice, the calls rang about 10 rings and then disconnected with an odd tone.
Rec'd a call from 262-884-6686 on 7/2/07. Caller said he was from "Test and Measurement World" and was calling to verify information for a subscription. Told him we'd already renewed the subscription by phone in May. He said they could not "read it." Because the caller ID said "Educators Credit" and not Test and Measurement World, I asked him why he was calling from a credit union. He told me he was not. I then told him I'd already renewed the subscription and was not going to do it again. I called the number displayed and did get a credit union. They have a recording saying their phone number is being used in a scam and advise not to give out any personal information.
Call from (262) 884-6686 came through on my office line this morning. They asked to speak with someone who hasn't worked here in over 6 years. Told them they had a wrong number.
