Received voicemail stating IRS case. No case number or follow up information only a number to call back. States from the investigation team and that we had 4 allegations against us and they will take Legal Action against us. Respond within 24 hours or be arrested and taken into custody by the cops. I always google numbers from 1-800Notes. There is always a Scam involved. I never ever call any number back I don't know. I and many others have no IRS issues to resolve. I paid my taxes this year and the IRS has never sent me anything in regards to action to be taken against us! So SCAM you are and I will go to IRS today file a complaint as I have received this call today. I also recorded the call if ever a class action Lawsuit arises in the future. Which is probably highly unlikely as these fools know how to contact you yet no legal action on them to date. You see it on the news and elsewhere be advised IRS Scam calls nationwide. The call came from Levittown, Philadelphia (Pennsylvania)! Female voicemail to Call back at (267-727-2002).
The funniest thing about the call is the declaration that "the local COPS will pick you up." Like the IRS or any other agency would call the police "cops"!
If you actually call back they answer, "Hi, Internal Revenue Service. How may I help you?" Get outta town! I hung up and blocked them and submitted a complaint on the 'do not call' list. They called me 4 TIMES in less than a minute.
