Called my mother and told her they had found my name in the wallet of a man in Las Vegas who's death they were investigating. My mother told them nothing about me and hung up. Weird.
Privacy Manager intercepted this call. But I called it back. Got a message, "We're sorry. This number is no longer in service or has been disconnected." Be interesting to know how someone is making calls from a disconnected number. Caller ID only got the 337-4149. I suspect it's the collection agency from Publisher's Clearing House, but not sure. I told them, "Send me a bill and I'll pay it, but I'm NOT giving you information over the phone." They refused and got really rude, then called back before 8 am for days.
No idea why these calls come through on a daily basis. Privacy Manager stops the call from completing, but even if I pick it up, there is no response. This is very annoying.
