That's how we found out you had vanished.
This number is a scam.... don't give them any info.... I even told them that they were a scam when they happened to answer when I picked up the phone.... they denied it but continued their spill about what they were offering... they had the last four digits of my credit card number.... it is high time someone in charge of these frauds does something about these people... I have a no call number also, but nothing is done there either...
Yes, I just got this call...I have no clue who they are except they gave me a big old speech how I had recently ordered through someone who is partnering with them and told me I was getting a packet in the mail through them where my VISA would be charged something like 25 bucks a month for their smartshopping program? They had the last four digits of my visa card and wanted to confirm that I lived where I did and asked for my permission to send this packet to me....wouldn't even tell me WHO I had ordered from that was their partner?? I told them no, I didn't give them my permission and hung up.
I have also received calls from this number over the past few days-lots and lots of calls but no message. It says "Confirmorder" on the caller id. They also had the last 4 digits of one of my credit cards. I looked on my credit card bill to see what I had ordered online during the last few weeks ( had ordered 2 different things-"bare llifts" and "bark off") and guess what-they both had the same phone number in the billing part. 800-777-4034. It is a company called Telebrands International. Apparently, they either sold my number or it is a division of the same company making the calls-the girl I spoke with wouldn't really say other than that she was "notating my account to not receive any more calls".
I just got a call from that number and when I answered they hung up so I called back and heard the recording about confirm order. I hung up. I googled the phone number and found this thread of comments and found yours interesting because I too had ordered barelifts about a month ago...which turned out to be a scam in itself which I reported but was unable to get any credit. URG!!!
