I agree with Scott above, The phone co. that we lease the line should already be involved , they know where these calls are generating from, years ago messing around on the phone like this would land you in trouble, today I believe there is money
to be made at the consumers expense . There is know reason for anyone to be bothered at home with this junk. I bet if a few thousand people turned in their phone , it might force something to be done, But the phone is a life line for some, these bogus calls disrupt peoples lives, legitimate biusnesses loose money every year because people don't want to answer their phone, Don't answer the phone if you don't know the number. Educate older people whats going on.
Just got a call from this number. Guy asked to speak with the person who handles the Semco gas bill. I said "No you may not!" Some dead air, and the coward hung up when I asked him to identify himself.
