THIS IS A SCAM. THEY CLAIM THEY CALLED FROM VISA OFFERING GAS CARD IF YOU PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM WHICH IS $$$ PER MONTH. I CALLED VISA TO VERIFY. NO SUCH THING EXISTED. THE GUY YELLED AT ME WHEN I SAID IM NOT INTERESTED.
If you look at the dates according to the post they hammer people with calls for awhile and then they stop. When they call me they say my name but I start asking the ?s and I never confirm thats its me. They even called me once and acted like they new it was me I just hung up on them. Lets work together and complain to http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm and stop these idiots from calling other people or at least try to. Make sure you put your # on the http://www.donotcall.gov it works really good for me. Like the people mention above I think someone is selling the numbers or they someone hacked into a web sit that sales stuff. I always got a live real person talking not a computer. They called me 4 or 5 times on 8-30-11 and its really annoying. BE AWARE THEY SAY THERE FROM VISTA SALES.

I've been receiving these phone calls at least four times a day for the last three days. I suspect my wife ordered something with her credit card under my account. They call asking for her and when I say that she's not here, they ask if I'm her husband. I say yes and they continue. They say that they are verifying an order. They say that she has earned a $150.00 gas gift card. They then confirm the last four of the Mastercard number. Then they ask if I have signing authority on the card. I say no, and they quickly hang up, even if you ask them another question.
Received a call from this number today, showed up on caller ID as: 269-768-2630 Customer Service. The man calling asked for a family member, who NEVER gives out this number. Don't even think he knows the number, so I found it very odd this number called for him. Person was a man saying he was with Vista, don't remember his name. I said why are you calling this number, he said for my family member and I got indignant, saying, this is not that persons number. He asked if I was the spouse, I said no, he asked, well is he there, I said no. He said sorry for bothering you. I called the number back and it was, indeed, as others indicated a recording stating, "we are trying to reach you to confirm an order you placed." I knew it had to be a scam because my family member would never use the number they called me on to place any kind of order. At the end of the message, it indicated to leave a message and a good time that they can call me back. VERY ODD, as I have been on the DNC registry for several years and have not had a telemarketing call for at least the past 2 years, until this guy called today.
BEWARE: Rec'd a call from a man at this company on Sep 8, telling me I a am a preferred customer, etc, etc, etc. They had information about my purchasing habits..Asked them how they got my # and I am on the National Do Not Call List. They said I purchased something on the internet 12-18 mos ago. They did not care and they were insisting they were sending me gas coupons and all I had to pay was the shipping. I told them "no thank you". They then transferred me to a woman , who wanted to verify information. Told them I was not verifying anything over the phone. The next thing I hear is a "dial tone". They hung up. I would like to mention they are fast talkers and don't give you a chance to think. You have to be faster thinking than they are.
