THIS IS A SCAM. THEY CLAIM THEY CALLED FROM VISA OFFERING GAS CARD IF YOU PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM WHICH IS $$$ PER MONTH. I CALLED VISA TO VERIFY. NO SUCH THING EXISTED. THE GUY YELLED AT ME WHEN I SAID IM NOT INTERESTED.
I just picked up the call and it was regarding me being a preferred customer of Visa. They told me what my last 4 digits of my credit card number was and told me I had gas rebate worth $120. All I had to do was to agree to have them charge $2.95 to my account. I asked her how the rebates worked and she all I had to do was use the card at any gas station and mail in the receipts to get a rebate. When asked how long does that take she told me 6-8 days (BS). I repeatedly told them I did not want anything charged to my account and did not want anything sent to my home address. She really wanted me to say yes charge.. She even had my address and age range. I told her again I did not want anything charged to my account. She said ok, they would call back later and hung up... It's best not to answer this number.. SCAM
I have had several of these calls, same as a reward of 120.00 awarded, I always say no no no ,leave me alone. I began getting these cals after I had a fraudulent charge to a credit card, I disputed it and started calling again..never answer yes to anything...it seemed to start after I thought I bought a tooth whitener on line...beware.
I am also getting those calls and I had bought a teeth whitener called Celebwhitener which was supposed to be to try for a $1 and ended up with a charge of $173. Now I'm getting these calls. -KY
