The company uses a tower in Baytown similar to skype. It oringinates actually in a telemarketing center owned by the same company that uses net10 and others as its brand. The actual call is a relay from Missouri and is owned by tracfone.We were having some many of these shortly after getting airtime or people using phones provided under gov programs. In my case they wait till I am down to my last 10 minutes and you can set your watch by them.Then they have the nerve to send a txt telling me I am low on airtime.
I filed a complaint with the PUC and the FCC and they used Level 7 Com backbone to track them to the origin .
The numbers are bogus but the towers were traceable, odds are you are all using one of these companies and this is how they get you to use up airtime. They are using a 952 now and the others vary. Hope this helps but the average joe is unaware that they only want your airtime. (spell check offline:()
