Man called 3x today, 1 to my home phone and 2 to my cell phone. Left a message on my cell stating his name was Calvin Peterson from Federal Law Department and that he needed to speak with me asap. He sounded really funny, not a normal voice. He said that there was a law suit going to be filed against me and an arrest warrent (I think, I could not understand him well at all) He had the last four digits of my ssn. I tried to call the number back and got the voice mail of a man named Damon Marshall but I could not leave a message because the voicemail was full. Almost as soon as I had tried the number my cell rang again with this same number (281)203-8131 so I answered it. It was the same man and he immediately ask if I had an attorney and I replied "no" and he then went on to say the same thing as in the message and I told him I have no idea what he was talking about he then gave me a number to call with ext 84. I needed to call right away as this was going to happen in the morning. He then just hung up. I dialed the number he gave me and it was the same one as in the voicemail to Damon Marshall and did not allow for any extension. I have not received any payday loans so I have not a clue as to why they are calling me. I am a homemaker and do not even work. If I receive anymore I will report them! Scam
I have been getting non stop calls from this phone number as well, they change their number up every day, they claim to be officers, saying that I have a law suit filed against me but i can settle now if i want to pay. claim i have a payday loan as well. when i ask for the papers, the company's name and address they begin to curse and swear. i donot know how to get these people to stop. they have my bank account info as well as my social security number.
A guy named Damon Marshall called saying he was an attorney and that I owed almost $500 within an hour or I was going to jail and an officer would come arrest me. I called the FTC(federal trade commision) and filed a complaint. I googled the number and instantly it popped up with scam. Don't believe them, just file a complaint.
THESE PEOPLE CALLED ME STATING I OWE CASH ADVANCED AMERICA SOME MONEY, A COMPANY I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT SO I CALLED THEM BACK AND SPOKE WITH AN ATTORNEY DAMN MARSHALL WHO IS NOT AN ATTORNEY AND I HAVE ALREADY FILLED 2 COMPLIANTS AGAINST HIM IN FLORIDA AND TEXAS. DON'T GIVE THESE GUYS MONEY IT IS A FRAUD!
